Decide the fate of Clayton Carmine in Gears of War 3

Starting July 29th, fans will be able to decide the fate of the newest Carmine brother, Clayton, in Gears of War 3. Two new Gears of War 3 avatar t-shirts will be available for purchase, one reading "Save Carmine" and the other "Carmine Must Die." Purchasing one or the other casts a vote to either save Clayton, or let him meet the same fate as his brothers before him. By purchasing the avatar gear on the Xbox Live marketplace gamers will not only be voting, but they'll also be supporting the Child's Play Charity, where all proceeds are going.


In the previous Gears of War titles, both Anthony and Ben met an early death. It'll be interesting to see how the fans and gaming communities feel about what happens to the newest addition of the Carmine family. In the press release, Epic Games and Microsoft revealed that Clayton will be facing situations that have a higher risk of death, but if the community decides otherwise, he may see the story through to the end.


Those attending this year's San Deigo Comic-Con will have the opportunity to vote early by purchasing the "Carmine Must Die" or "Save Carmine" real life limited edition t-shirts at the NECA booth (#3145) for $20 each. The Xbox 360 booth (#5153) will also have Gears of War 3's Beast Mode available to play. Also, stop by the Xbox 360 booth on Saturday at 12:00 pm PDT for a chance to have the team from Epic Games sign exclusive Comic-Con posters.
