Lets face it, there’s an awful lot of zombie games available on nearly every gaming platform out there. From Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead to the newly released Resident Evil 6, pretty much all of us like a good zombie game, and I’m pretty sure that at one point or another, nearly all of us have thought to ourselves- “What would I do if the zombie apocalypse ever happens for real?” Well, I live in a top floor flat so I’d be okay for a while as – if video games have taught us anything – it’s that zombies can’t climb stairs, and seeing as gravy granules have a ‘use by date’ of about 50 years I could live on that! Well, that and crisps.

But what happens if you do need to drive somewhere during the apocalypse?  You need training, right? Well, this is where Exor Studios’ latest game, Zombie Driver HD comes into play. Zombie Driver HD is actually an HD remake of 2009’s best selling ‘zombie drive ’em’ down’ game Zombie Driver.

Zombie Driver HD features an insane mix of cars, speed, explosions, blood, and of course zombies, as you fight through an epic narrative campaign whilst engaging huge bosses, saving survivors and driving crazy vehicles such as bulldozers, fire trucks and even a tank (what better vehicles are there to take out the horde?!?) all over 31 diverse missions.

Of course, if you get bored of the campaign you can also take part in the Blood Race mode which will feature 30 unique events offering the best arcade racing experience in 3 different game types – Race, Eliminator, and Endurance.

Zombie Driver HD is due for release on October 17th and will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and compatible Android Devices and at an as yet unannounced date for the Playstation Network and you can check out the screenshots and trailer below:
