Some things are just too good to be true. Earlier this week cloud gaming service OnLive let out it’s death rattle when it announced that it was laying off most of it’s staff and declaring not bankruptcy but something close to it. Roughly half on OnLive’s employees will be carried over to a new company formed by the venture capitalist group Lauder Partners, LLC, the group that bought the remains of OnLive and intends to reboot it as a new company.
Fallout: New Boston
Rumours abound that the next Fallout game will take place in Boston. As usual, Bethesda refuses to comment on rumours or speculation.
Everyday They’re Shufflin’
Bioshock Infinite developer Irrational Games had a bit of a shakeup. Several key staff on the title have left the project, including the Design lead, principal systems designer, art director, and director of product development. Additionally, Bioshock Ininfite‘s multiplayer modes are rumoured to have either been axed or cut down substantially. However, two veteran game developers have joined the team: Scott Sinclair, art director of the first Bioshock and Gears of War producer and head honcho Rod Fergusson.
