As the Tomb Raider games got bigger and better, Lara’s chest also got bigger and bigger and it sounds silly to even mention it here but it was such a huge (no pun intended) part of the franchise that I can’t not mention it here! Rumour has it of course that the reason her chest got so big wasn’t to do with the developers trying to please young boys (their core audience). But instead coming from a simple slip up while writing a piece of code. You can believe what you want but my money’s on option 1! However, this “slip up” didn’t stop them from getting even bigger in the next game and in every subsequent game until they got so big I don’t know how she even stood up! Much less run around and jump over huge chasms! In fact, it wasn’t until Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness was released on PS2 in 2003 that her chest was returned to normal size.
