The Condemned series itself is frightening enough. Even the box art is terrifying. We all remember the mannequins in the Doll Factory but the thing that stuck with me was when you’re separated from your squad in the Preston Hotel. The dim lighting, claustrophobic corridors and maniacal mutterings all contribute to the unbearable feeling of unease as you navigate the corridors.

    Undoubtedly, my ass. There are TONS of video game worlds that’re more cheerful, and nostalgia’s a subjective term; I’m sure the vast majority of gamers would disagree with that opinion. I’m not saying it’s wrong to have an opinion, I’m saying it’s wrong to state your opinion as if it’s fact. #1 was a pretty crappy choice, and the exclusion of ANY Silent Hill sequences disappoints me. I’m assuming you’re not much of a horror gamer, huh?
