Charles

I have fond memories of playing my father’s Commodore 64 with games like:

Beach Head II: The Dictator Strikes Back

Then a few years later, getting frustrated at having to do crazy things with autoexec.bat & config.sys to play Commander Keen on DOS PC.

Of course, I also played a lot of the big ones (or so I thought) on PC and consoles like Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem, Rise of the Triad, Descent, Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Excitebike, Mike Tyson’s Punchout, Sonic, etc. I could list games for days.

However, my favourite gaming memories would have to come from the Arcade. I spend quite a few hours playing Operation Wolf, Street Fighter II, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Double Dragon, various pinball machines, etc. Again, another laundry list that doesn’t need to be repeated.

While I had an absolute blast playing all of these games, the one game that has always stuck out as my favourite is…. NBA JAM. BOOOOMSHAKALAKA!
