Some of this spring’s highly anticipated Xbox LIVE Arcade games are coming this month from Microsoft Studios. With the event, named “Arcade NEXT”, a new downloadable title will launch on the service every Wednesday starting April 18th, and will continue through May 9th, 2012. Along with the event, also starting in April, it was unveiled that all new Xbox LIVE Arcade games will include the new limit of up to 400 Gamerscore, and will have up to 30 unlockable Achievements available.
Trials Evolution will kick off the event on April 18th, with Bloodforge the week after on April 25th, both for 1200 Microsoft Points. Trials Evolution is the follow up to the award-winning XBLA game Trials HD, while Bloodforge will have you saving the world in a dark story of revenge, betrayal, and destiny. On May 2nd, the hack-and-slash adventure Fable Heroes takes the Fable franchise on a new path with a fresh art style and four player gameplay that will allow you to collect gold and use it in the forthcoming Kinect title, Fable: The Journey. Finishing off the event on May 9th will be Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, which will bring the global success of Minecraft to consoles for the first time. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will cost 1600 Microsoft Points, while Fable Heroes will run just half of that at 800 Microsoft Points.
