At a press conference in Japan, Nintendo and Square Enix announced details on the upcoming Dragon Quest X for Wii. The game will be an online MMO style game with a similar feel to Dragon Quest IX. You’ll be able to party up with allies all over the world and go on quests, but if you want to complete the game offline, you can using NPCs. Perhaps the biggest news was that it will also be coming out on Nintendo’s next console, the Wii U and will have cross-platform play with the Wii version. There’s also talk about some 3DS compatibility using SpotPass. This is sure to be an exciting new chapter in the Dragon Quest series and looks to offer a lot of gameplay, and enough clothes for mages.
