City Interactive recently announced that their marquee first-person shooter, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, is making its way to the Playstation 3 console in the first quarter of 2011. This version will include everything the Xbox 360 and PC releases had, as well as some new features that won’t disappoint. “Sniper: Ghost Warrior was our most ambitious project to date and although it was extremely well-received by players, we wanted to ensure that the PS3 version took the franchise to a higher level,” said Marek Tyminski, CEO of City Interactive. “With exclusive content and modes, we are eager to introduce the best sniper game on the market to PS3 owners sometime in Q1 next year.”  The PS3 version will feature fully upgraded gameplay and graphics, new single player missions and multiplayer modes exclusive for PS3 owners, bonus multiplayer maps and a bonus single-player challenge, as well as exclusive new sniper rifles: the L96 and the M200 Intervention.
