Seemingly anyone who has played the Ocarina of Time seems to agree that it is one of the greatest games of all time. For good reason, it revolutionized games and still holds up well to this day. As you probably know already the Ocarina of Time remake for the 3DS will be released on June 19th. But if you want to relive this timeless classic or missed it the first and second time it came around, you may want to set up your pre-order right now.
A new report from Andriasang shows a warning from the Sinobi blog, a supposedly “trusted source for retail leaks” has said that initial shipments of the Ocarina of Time 3DS may be extremely small. The blog states that stores won’t have any effect on the number of units that they receive. This seems like a very strange tactic for Nintendo, but Andriasang has speculated that it may be to avoid the quick bargain bin sales that Spirit Tracks received. This doesn’t make sense to me, as I think sales will be incredibly strong towards Ocarina. Of course there’s no guarantee that this is true, or it could be a marketing ploy to get pre-orders up. Either way I’m glad I have my copy pre-ordered already and any of you considering picking it up may want to reserve the game as soon as you possibly can.
