# 9 – Rock ‘n’ Roll Racing
Released back in 1993, Silicon & Synapse (now Blizzard) bought the pure pleasure of rock music and driving together. Based ‘in the future’ R’n’R Racing presented the game in a 3D isometric view which was useful for players trying to discern where the ramps and slopes were in the level. Throughout the game players could earn winnings to upgrade their car, giving themselves more rockets, mines, oil-spill upgrades etc.
The game was tremendous fun to play and remains one of my all time favorite racing games regards less of the fact that I don’t usually play racers. Rock N’ Roll Racing was also awarded Best Driving Game of 1993 by Electronic Gaming Monthly.
