Sales figures for last week suggest that the Nintendo 3DS might not be as popular as first anticipated in Japan!

Latest figures indicate that the PSP sold 58,075 units last week, up from its 51,095 the week before that.

Whereas the 3DS sold 42,979 units last week which is a drop from the week before where it sold 50,710.

Software-wise, DS RPG spin-off Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 Professional topped the software chart, with only one 3DS title – Namco Bandai’s Pro Baseball Famisuta 2011 – making the top 10.
