Zoo Entertainment and Rombax Games recently announced plans to bring demolition derby style gameplay to consoles with their upcoming racing title, Mayhem.  Even more intriguing is the fact they also announced it will include an optional 3D mode, that would be compatible with any television in your home.  “We are fully committed to continuously delivering engaging and high-caliber titles to consumers and recognize the importance of utilizing technologies such as 3D,” said Mark Seremet, Zoo CEO. “There’s nothing like the thrill of a good racing game and with Mayhem, we plan to make the experience as real as possible through optional 3D gameplay and never-before seen racing and demolition action.”  The game will feature destruction car racing, 20 levels in five locations, up to eight-player action, 120 vehicles in six classes, and four game modes, including Demolition Derby, Banger Racing, Domination, and Eliminator.  Keep your eyes peeled for Mayhem when it launches in March 2011 at the $39.99 price point.
