It’s been a while since we’ve taken a look at a new Kairosoft game, and that’s because there is an insane amount of time between one release and the next. Their English ports tend to drop out of the blue, and that’s exactly what’s happened with Anime Studio Story.
Anime Studio Story is a simulation game that lets you run a new Anime Studio. Needless to say, if you have played any Kariosoft sim set in an office, you’ll have no trouble getting down to business with this one. As manager, you’ll have to hire, fire, train and upgrade your office. You’ll also have to come up with a popular Anime hero which may be easier said than done.
As you’d expect, Anime Studio Story plays just like Game Dev, Magazine Mogul, and almost every other game from the company. It’s not a bad thing, and the newer titles are definitely more polished than the old. In terms of content, you can expect a ton of it. I am very early into the game, but it’s not something you’re likely to finish in one sitting unless you want to destroy your eyeballs or have several batteries on hand.
Anime Studio Story is one of the Kairosoft games fans have been hoping to see, and as someone who’s played most of their sims, I’m pleased to say this one is a good one. The music will get stuck in your brain rather quickly, and it should suck you right in just like Game Dev did. If you’re ready to give it a go, you can pick up Kairosoft’s Anime Studio Story for $4.99 on Google Play.
