A couple of weeks ago, the ex-Riot developer created mobile MOBA game, Vainglory, was released to the iOS app store worldwide, and this week we have even more news about another MOBA game that is making it’s way to the smartphone platform. It seems as if a lot of developers are jumping on the mobile MOBA train, and the latest game in this genre to get our attention is The Witcher Battle Arena, a new action packed MOBA game that seems to offer quite a lot for seasoned League of Legends or Dota 2 players.

In The Witcher Battle Arena, players will be able to fight in online three versus three battles, and the developers have made it clear that their game will not be filled with any pay-to-win elements. Instead, the game can be played without spending any money, although we do expect a system to be in place that will charge players for cosmetic items such as champion skins.

For those wonder, yes The Witcher Battle Arena is created within the same universe as the Witcher series, and Projekt Red have been working on the game for quite some time now. I think that The Witcher Battle Arena could be the best MOBA yet for mobile, and it’s simply because Projekt Red are known to put their love for the game first, and their profits second.

The graphics in The Witcher Battle Arena are very impressive, and the game will feature a decent set of sound effects and background music. Hopefully once it is released, the game will run and play smoothly on a wide range of devices as well.

So far, the game is in beta, but iOS and Android players can sign up for beta access by going to this link. It’s not guaranteed that you will get beta access right away, but if you sign up now you should stand a pretty good chance at getting access before the game is fully released.

Projekt Red have not revealed any dates for the full release of the game, but from the looks of the trailer,The Witcher Battle Arena is looking pretty crisp so far.
