If you were alive in the 80s, you know the magic Richard Dean Anderson brought to the small screen as MacGyver. FairPlay Media attempting to recapture that magic with MacGyver Deadly Descent which has just rolled out for Android and iOS devices. Excited?
MacGyver Deadly Descent is a puzzler of sorts which is fitting considering that MacGyver is a problem solver. The game lets you step into the role of the 80s hero as he tries to save scientists trapped inside the top secret D.A.W.N. Laboratories. You’ll have to solve a slew of puzzles in order to set the scientists free, and you’ll do it in true MacGyver fashion.
The game was created in conjunction with Lee David Zlotoff, the creator of MacGyver, and features a variety of puzzles set across six different categories. It’s said to feature ‘hours’ of re-playable entertainment and there’s even an official cheat app if you happen to get stuck. We’re not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad thing when a puzzle games comes with its own cheat app.
We haven’t gotten around to playing MacGyver Deadly Descent yet, but it looks like a solid game that fans of Mac should enjoy. There is no demo version available, but the full version (no IAPS) is available for $2.99 on Google Play or the App Store.
