Last month R.B.I. Baseball 14 was released for iOS and as usual, Android gamers have had to play the waiting game. Luckily, the wait wasn’t that long this time around as MLB Advanced Media has just released R.B.I. Baseball 14 for Android.
While it may not be the game you remember from your childhood, R.B.I. Baseball 14 is a re-imagining of the series for modern times. This means updated graphics, all 30 Major League teams and real players by the boatload – 480 to be exact.
Some things have definitely changed, but the gameplay is still based on that classic 2-button control setup which can help you get through a full 9 innings in about 20 minutes. It’s easy on the eyes as well although we wouldn’t have been too upset if they would have taken a classic approach to the graphics.
Reviews have been mixed on R.B.I. Baseball 14, and it’s a game we’ve been chomping at the bit to get our hands on. Now that the day has arrived, you can expect a full review this weekend, but if you don’t want to wait you can head on over to Google Play and pick up R.B.I. Baseball 14 for $4.99.
