Angry Birds, one of the best selling iPhone games, will be released on Nintendo’s newest handheld, the 3DS. After the unprecedented success on the iPhone, Rovio, the developer behind the game, decided to port the title to the 3DS. Angry Birds was previously ported to the PSP and the PlayStation 3.

For whom, the past years, has lived under a rock, Angry Birds revolves around a simple concept: Through the firing of a catapult, the goal is to destroy pigs. The simple gameplay is very addictive.

Angry Birds will be released on the downloadable store of the 3DS later in the year and will be fully playable in 3D.
