Trivia games can be a blast, and it’s a great way to socialize amongst your friends, but let’s face it… some of your pals may not be quite as smart as you. If you’re looking to get in on some trivia action with like-minded folks, there’s a new Kickstarter project from Squirrel Media by the name of Headbutt Trivia you may want to check out.
Headbutt Trivia is an online trivia game that aims to eliminate cheaters while matching you in live matches against opponents around the globe. The matches use asynchronous live play to pit you against other trivia fanatics, and you’ll get to battle it out in 10 rounds of trivia to find out who’s got the biggest brain full of pop trivia knowledge.
The scores are tallied using time and accuracy, so you’ll want to answer quicker than your opponent, but you’ll also want to be right. The time-based asynchronous aspect of things keep Google cheaters to a minimum. Another interesting part of Headbutt Trivia is the way you actually go about answering the questions as Squirrel Media has taken an ‘interactive’ approach to things. Each game has its own interactive mini-games, and they promise you’ll test your dexterity along with your mind.
The Headbutt Trivia Kickstarter has 29 days to go at this time of this writing, and they’ve managed to raise $1,397 of their $12,500 goal. It’s not going to take a ton of money to get this one made, and you won’t have to wait long to play it either as it’s expected to be out in April of this year if funding is successful. It’ll also be free and will be available for Android and iOS. If you’re interested in supporting Headbutt Trivia, there’s no time like the present so just hit up the link below to check out their Kickstarter.
