Telltale Games The Walking Dead was widely regarded as one of the best games of the year, and has countless awards to prove it. Fans have been waiting for word on Season 2, and today we got it when Telltale dropped the trailer for The Walking Dead season 2 and finally gave us a little info.
Just in case you haven’t played the season one of The Walking Dead, we’re going to keep this spoiler free. The Walking Dead game followed the two lead characters, Lee and Clementine, as they made their way through a world full of the undead meeting wonderful along the way. If you watch The Walking Dead, you know that’s not quite how it goes and the game stays true to the comic and TV series. The game really tugged on the heartstrings as you would become attached to characters and were tasked with making tough choices through all 5 episodes of season one.
The Walking Dead Season 2 will continue to follow the story of Clementine and company, but this time around it looks like you’ll have a bit more control over Clem as you goes up against hordes of zombies. While the trailer doesn’t reveal much, it’s nice to see she’s still got the short hair along with her beloved baseball cap.
The trailer only gave us a brief glimpse of what to expect, but it’s great to see Clementine again. It’s also nice to know that we’ll get to see a whole lot more of hear as the first episode will drop before 2014 rolls around. The episodes will be available for $5 each or you can splurge and pick up a season pass on Steam right now for $22.49 which is a 10% savings. As with last season, you can expect The Walking Dead Season 2 to be released on Steam, PC, Mac, Ps3, Xbox 360, and iOS. Expect an announcement regarding additional platforms soon.
