Very few people could say they were surprised when Microsoft announced Fable Anniversary, but what may have shocked you was the release date: right as the next generation begins and the Xbox One is released. Be surprised no longer, because Fable Anniversary has been delayed until next year.
Announced on the Lionhead Blog this morning, lead designer Ted Timmins has set the new release date as February 2014. He explains “We’ve been working hard for the past year to bring you the very best Fable Anniversary experience on Xbox 360. We feel though, that we need a little more time in order to meet our ambitions and give you, the fans, the best game possible”. He then goes on the explain that Lionhead will be sharing new screenshots and footage in the coming months, and teases at a secret announcement.
Finally, Ted and producer Craig Oman will be answering questions live on Twitter later today. Simply follow the @LionheadStudios account and tag all your questions with the hahstag #AskTeamFable. They will be available at the following times:
• 17:00 to 18:00 – British Summer Time (GMT +1)

• 09:00 to 10:00 – Pacific Daylight Time
